St. Vital Catholic School

St. Vital Catholic School is a lively collaborative learning community for Pre-Kindergarten to grade 7, where everyone feels at home! This is a unique elementary school in that it is a Catholic School in a public school division. We are committed to inclusion and the needs of students are at the center of everything. We anticipate over 170 students and over 20 staff members next year. Our staff are committed and caring individuals who know they can make a difference and who believe that every child can become great! 

This posting is for Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant Positions at St. Vital Catholic School, commencing immediately, and have contract end dates of June 30, 2026.  Hours of work are 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday.  Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students.  The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom. 

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
