Connaught Elementary School

Connaught Elementary is a Pre-K to grade 3 school where inclusion matters and the needs of students are at the centre of everything. We are a tight-knit place with a great deal of community spirit. This posting is for a Temporary Full-Time (ELIS) Educational Assistant Position (1.0 FTE) at Connaught Elementary  School, commencing immediately with a contract end date of June 30, 2026.  Hours of work are 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday.  Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students.  The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom. 

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
