Maymont Central  School (PreK-12) is seeking a  Student Services Teacher (SST) to work full-time beginning October 14, 2025 until June 20, 2026.   This position has the potential to start earlier in the school year.

Maymont Central School has around 140 students from Pre-K to grade 12 and a staff of 20. They are a collaborative learning community that strives for excellence. The team sets high expectations for all members and believes that although learning happens differently for everyone, all children can achieve greatness. We are looking for a leader who is interested in working in a collaborative work environment and who can model the school vision “Together We Are Better”.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement individualized program plans (IPPs) for students with diverse learning needs, including academic, social-emotional, and behavioral goals.
2. Provide in-class support, resource room interventions, and small group instruction as required.
3. Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and adapt instructional strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners.
4. Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to inform programming and intervention.
5. Communicate effectively with families, guardians, and external support agencies to ensure consistent support for students.
6. Assist in planning and delivering professional development for staff related to inclusion, differentiation, and intervention strategies.
7. Participate in school-based team meetings to address student needs and develop action plans.

Qualifications:

1. Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate.
2. Experience or training in special education or inclusive education practices is an asset.
3. Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, intervention strategies, and collaborative problem-solving.
4. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
