Summary of Position
This posting is for a temporary part-time (.53 FTE) Library Technician/Assistant position, commencing January 24th, 2025 and ending June 30, 2025. Hours of the position are 4 hours a day, every day, Monday to Friday. The Library Technician/Assistant provides expert technical and research skills to advance the needs of staff and students. As a Library Technician/Assistant, you will be the hub of the library and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the library including demonstrating the values of Living Sky School Division and your school community.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Library Technician Diploma or a grade 12 education with 2-5 years’ relevant experience
• Intermediate to advanced level technical/computer skills (ie. Microsoft Suite)
• Functional proficiency/experience with computerized office environment (ie. Internet)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract with access to a reliable vehicle
