About the Position

Connaught Elementary School is seeking a permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) teacher beginning August 26, 2026. This assignment is a Complexity Teacher role within the Specialized Classroom Support Model.

The Complexity Teacher works collaboratively with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to support students with diverse and complex learning needs. This role focuses on providing targeted, responsive support through co-planning, co-teaching, and individualized programming. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong inclusive practices, use data to inform instruction, and contribute to a team-based approach that ensures all students can access meaningful learning opportunities.

Connaught Elementary School is an Early Years school serving approximately 180 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 3. Our focus on the early years allows us to create a nurturing, relationship-centered environment where every child is known, supported, and encouraged to grow.

We believe that young learners thrive in environments that prioritize strong relationships, consistent routines, and developmentally responsive teaching. Our work is grounded in building foundational literacy and numeracy skills while supporting students’ social and emotional development, helping them develop confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in early years education and/or inclusive or specialized support roles.
